THANK YOU!!!

First off, I have to say a HUGE thank you for all of your support for the blog hop this weekend!!!

It was SO much fun and the amount of support ya'll gave for Webster's is beyond amaZing! We will be announcing winners tonight at the Chat. Don't forget to stop by at 6 PST/EST in the forum where we always meet for the winners. And I will post it on my blog, too.

Here are some cards I wanted to share with you that I created using Webster's New Hollywood Vogue Line. The colors in this line are STUNNING! I was inspired by the Unity Stamp WCMD challenges. The first one is a Shaker Card...can you believe that I made one of these? First one! AND I used the Webster's Vellum for it.

This one was for a handmade flower card so I layered and layered some Spellbinder's dies...

And here is another card. I printed the Happy Birthday wishes on the computer, used some Tattered Angels glimmer mists on the chippy, embossed the houndstooth to match the butterfly and used some Dimensionals.

Celebrate the Wonders of FALL

Hello and welcome to the Webster's Pages WonderFALL blog hop! Thank you so much for stopping by. You won't be disappointed this weekend. If you know me, you know I love Fall! I was just commenting this weekend how amazing the trees look. Being in Pennsylvania during this time of year is just beautiful. It makes me so thankful of the many blessing I have in life. Thankfully all of those memories can be captured with our WonderFALL line.

AND I couldn't be any more excited when I found out I got to scrap Lucy's cutie, Emma! How sweet is she? I think I tell Lucy that every time I comment on her blog, LOL! The WonderFALL "Count Your Blessings" paper was the PERFECT paper to use with the photographs she sent me. We swapped quite a few and I was so prepared to do a multiphoto layout but when I saw her face in this photo and the yellows, I just couldn't resist it. Well, with all of this excitement I have to admit I was nervous, too. Lucy always inspires me with her ability as an artist so I tried to really think about color on this layout. When I knew I wanted to accent the yellow, I was immediately drawn to the blue on the opposite end of the color spectrum. Plus, since I have boys I am good at blue, LOL! I hope you like it!

Then I kept thinking of the title....I mean, when you have a cutie patootie like this...every season is your favorite! :)
You Are My Favorite Time of the Year

The Glimmer Mist is Lemon Zest...I love it against the rich blue. Lots of hand cutting on here, layers, stitching, a tab punch, and I ran my letters through my Cuttlebug using wax paper, and I layered the bloomer with part of a whimsie...

Punch is from Kreaxions!!!

NOW for the good stuff.......Would you like to win a bit of WonderFALL for yourself? Each design team member is giving away a set of WonderFALL journaling cards and a set of our scalloped sparklers! Simply leave a comment telling me "what your favorite fall activity is during this wonderfall season" to be eligible for the drawing. Make sure to visit each design team members blog to increase your chances of winning. And speaking of design team members, head on over to Steph's blog to see her gorgeous creation!

Make sure to join us Monday, October 18th at 6pm PST/9pm EST for a live chat at inspireME to wrap up our event and see who the lucky winners are!

In case you get lost along the way, here is the order....

The blog hop will start at inspireME

From there you will go to...

Amy Tara to Jaz

Audrey to Iris

Lucy to Ellen (you are here)

Steph to Hilde

Karola to Anabelle back to inspireME. Have fun!

Jillibean Soup Love!

I have been a fan of Jillibean Soup since they started so I had to jump on the Sprout contest they had last month. I created a very simple layout to focus on the journal sprouts. Til this day, any kind of journaling card is one of my favorite embellishments. You can do so much with them. I even ran one through my Cuttlebug {SHOCKER, hahahaha}

This is one of the photos from our summer photo shoot (looks similar to my blog header) because I seriously have 15 of these kinds of shots from the boys just acting up and hugging and laughing. They make me smile every time I look at them. SO......I accented the green with the Core'dinations tab because that is the color of henry's room and we are going to hang this in his room. The poor kid is 2.5 and has nothing on his walls! ACK, bad mom, LOL!

Have a great week!

Working through the week...

Well this week is back to school and I am teaching 4 night classes so life is crazy. So far so good ;) I knew I would like teaching but never imagined how much I would actually enjoy it. Going to a job you love is one of the greatest things in the world.

You know what else is great? Hollywood Vogue! Yep, I whipped out the Webster's this weekend and it was FUN! I got a lot done for WCMD and I wanted to share this card I created based on the Cricut Circle Blog weekly challenge.

I used my French Manor cartridge to create the screen. I had to cut it twice to the screen image and the border. I used some Core'dinations on here, as well, ran it through my Cuttlebug and then sanded it down a bit. Stamp is from Unity and I embossed that, too. Oh and how could i forget! I put the Webster's vellum behind the screen...that is how this card started. I knew the vellum was the perfect touch.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

I can't believe it!!!

I am a finalist over at the Inkadinkado contest from Scrapbooks, etc.!!!

So if you are bored and have time everyday to vote for me that would be great, LOL! No, seriously, if you think my layout is worth your vote, I would appreciate it. I am so excited because this is one of my favorite layouts for a few reasons....First it is of henry...he is such an amazing spirit and makes me smile again and again every single day of my life. And of course, stamping!!! But I love to stamp with my white craft ink on chipboard. And the stamps are FTLOA :) and there is Core'dinations on there :) Just my happy place all around.

Thanks for letting me be excited. Now off to clean. What a downer, LOL!

WCMD Hangover

Yep, I spent a ton of time in my craft room this week. I have done 8 cards and a few other little things and I am not done yet, LOL! I have been in there all day today and need to take a break but something came over me. We even went to the pumpkin patch this weekend. I did a killer workout yesterday and the inner thighs are screaming so I am bloggin instead of hitting the treadmill today. SHHH!

Here is a card I created over the weekend using some fun Echo Park Halloween papers. I put the cardstock sticker on a piece of wax paper and ran it through my Cuttleubg. It peels off relatively easy. This one had some skinny parts on the tree so I had to be careful.

I rased the bat, stars and fence with Black Helmar Zap dots.

I also made this little gift box using a clear Pillow Box from FTLOA. I got to work with these ADORABLE MME Alphabet Soup papers and these 52 deck of cards is the CUTEST! I punched holes in the upper left hand corner with my Crop-a-dile and then attached them. I have a guy at work having a baby and I am going to give this (and the mini album I am doing that isn't finished yet) as a gift.

Have a great weekend!!!!

Does your Monday sneak up on you?

Mine does! Every weekend goes so fast..and then BOOM! it's Monday again.

I hope you had a great weekend. This weekend was the poker run we do every year for my best friend's sister. She died unexpectedly a few years ago. Massive heart attack while she was 8 mos. pregnant and they lost Raylee, the baby, too. So please, ladies. Get your physicals, get your heart checked b/c it doesn't matter what age you are...heart disease is a serious thing.
Okay enough Debbie Downer...I don't like to dwell, this weekend was about celebrating life and each other and that is exactly what we did :)

Here is a video I shot of all the bikes and old cars. How cool are they??? We drove the Hummer which of course I don't have any pics of! I will have to hunt one down b/c it was SO FUN! Turn it up...the louder the better!!! So you can hear the roar of the bikes :)

Shimmerz

I played with Shimmerz last week and, as usual, it was FUN! If you need to buy some head over to FTLOA..Norma just loaded a bunch of the new releases.

When I was little, we would collect seashells at the Jersey Shore and my mom would bring watercolors along and after we showered and ate, we would paint shells. We carry on this tradition when we go to the beach with owen and this year was no exception. Well, a little one;) This time I tried Shimmerz and rubons and bling! When owen saw these on my scrap table he was SO excited. So guess what we are doing this weekend?

I practiced on this shell first, he was a little abused so if I made a mistake than I wouldn't be bummed but I love it! I used some Tuscan Sun on here...Love how it picks up the shimmery goodness.

Here I used some paints...mix of Pearlz and Aquamarine.

And this one was a mix of Pearlz and Ultra Marine.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

myStamp BOX and Core'dinations equals FUN!

BLOG SWAP TIME! Yeah!!!

myStamp BOX and Core'dinations teamed up for a fun Blog Swap. Make sure you check out the blogs to win goodies! You only need to visit both of those blogs..it's not a blog hop so only two stops.

Both teams made some gorgeous products! AND BOTH blogs are giving away goodies. Oh, I guess I already mentioned that ;-)

Here is the card I created for the swap . I have the pleasure of being able to work with both of these companies so this couldn't have been more fun :) I also squeezed in some Queen & Co. pearls from a recent blog swap with them, too. I couldn't help myself. I used lots of whitewash goodies on here....embossing, tearing, sanding AND I used the reverse side the cardstock for the notebook punch and stamped image.

Have a Great Monday!!!

For the Luv of Art FABULOUS Kit!!!

Seriously....this kit is gorgeous. You have to get it! And the stamps are so awesome. EVERYONE needs a camera stamp in their arsenal of scrapbooking supplies. AND if you aren't a stamper, that this might just be the kit that converts you.

Here is a layout that I did with the kit. The 6x6 paper pad is exclusive as well as the stamps.
And the kit also comes with these fun Punky Sprouts flowers that are precut and ready to make into your own rosettes. How cute is that little Polaroid stamp? It is on a clothesline...so cute! There is a close-up below. And the fun kraft envelope comes in the kit, too.

I ran the top portion of the envelope through my Cuttlebug for some texture and then antiqued it a bit. I didn't pull my flower tight, I just kind of layered it on the button. To see how I stamped on it scroll down for some step by step photos.

Here is a close up of that fun Polaroid stamp!!! I put the alphas on it and popped up the heart {a stamp from July's kit}.

Suzy West does some cool tutorials on the Punky Sprouts site so check it out for some more how to's.

You gotta use stazon on....

Here it is with the image on it. I used the Favorite Things stamp from August's kit. I love the look of script on the flower. After I stamped it, I sprayed with red and blue Shimmerz.

ooooh...we're half way there....

oooh oooh...livin' on a prayer...Do you like my Bon Jovi impression? That is how I feel this week. I am half way there, baby!

On a good note, this past weekend I got a ton of scrappbing done. 6 cards, a layout and a little altered frame. Most of them I sent in to Papercrafts and the layout was for the Jillibean Soup contest! I love love their products and always have so I made a layout and a card for it.

Happy Labor Day Monday!

I have to laugh at myself b/c I am still getting used to the new look of my blog every time I come here. I am not sure if anyone noticed before that my old header still said 2009! Notice this header is neutral so I don't have to change it next year if I don't want to or find time to is more like it!

Here is a layout I did for Webster's Pages September Guest Designer inspiration. We got to browse Christine Middlecamp's blog for inspiration, which of course is not hard! I love how she layers and layers her embellishments so that is what I tried to achieve in this layout. Everything is Webster's except the metal frame & tag (Tim Holtz).

These tiny rosettes were so easy! I used my scraps from the bloomers (when you cut them down sometimes there are pieces of fabric left over) so I just tied them in loose knots. Then, I took my Shimmerz spritz and took the top out of the bottle and just let some drip right on the fabric. I realized after I glued them to the paper I wanted them to be shimmery and I didn't want to spray the entire page.

check out these two cute sisters!

Mornin' I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo ready for a nice long weekend. I think we will be doing a lot of grilling, relaxing, swimming and maybe the drive-in again!

When I got these papers from the LBD September kit and saw all the pink goodness in it, I knew I had to document these photos of our friend's bulldogs. Aren't they cute??? They are Laker & Tango. I used the misc. vintage papers and then added the October Afternoon, Core'dinations and Girl's Paperie papers inside so it would be nice and sturdy. Then, I binded it together with one of those office thingies for legal files.

This is Laker...She is sooo sweet! A few weeks ago, she barely made it through the night after getting a nibble of some rat poisoning. They rushed her to Cornell animal hospital and she pulled through! It's a miracle, really.

I used my For the Luv of Art stamp set (didn't come with the kit) on here, too. The rose above in the word "sweet" and in the photo below. LUV this list stamp :) Each of the doggies got one of these for my friend to journal her favorite things about her girls.

Teehee...Laker with her ears back. So cute.

And sweet sweeet Tango! Isn't she adorable??? I just want to squeeze her all day long. She got a rose, too ;)

And her own list stamp for her momma to document...

OH! and a close up of the music note stamps that came in the For the Luv of Art kit.

Have a SAFE and Happy WEEKEND!!!

Today's a Card Day!

So today is Cuttlebug Be Inspired #99! Can you believe we are up to 99?

Here are my cards featuring some goodies from September's Little Black Dress kit club. Lots of October Afternoon and these fun Studio Calico cards. I used some Core'dinations and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Argyle Folder. AND these cute little stamps are from My Pink Stamper who sponsored us this week. I love these teeny tiny sentiment stamps!

I used some Zapdots on here to raise the image so I could get the ribbon underneath it...

Here is a Congratulations card that I made for Brain's uncle's son. He graduated this year and these colors were perfect for a more masculine card. I added an SRM sticker to this one. Oh, and I ran the Studio Calico card through my Cuttlebug, too!
