I got my circle journal done this weekend! Finally! I am excited, I labored over the subject and how to narrow it down...I am doing a scavenger hunt sorta thing. LOL. I made a list of five things but you only have to pick a few or all of them, whatever.

Anway...here it is...just in time for our Pink Paislee chat tonight over at Serendipity Scrapbooks. Oh and check out the store over there too for these awesome Glitz 12x6 rubons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That grid one on the front is one and they are just awesome.

And then the Inside has two flaps.

These are hybrid library cards from Maggie Lamarre's Calico Kit

I found these definitions on the internet and then printed them on one of the pages of the album

And a few more

Well, this past weekend was ridiculousy fun! My mom, sister, and our friend Louise went to NC for the Donna Downey Inspired event and it rocked. I mean, it was really inspiring and just fun fun fun. We sewed and painted and inked and just made lots of fun stuff and met amazing, amazing friends. I can't wait to see them all again and used what i have learned, especially just motivating myself to do more.

I mean, did you ever hear someone say "think outside the box" or your box, more specifically? Well, i have always said that i do but in actuality, i don't. i mean i try new techniques but nothing really like, out of the box, kwim? Well, i will now. i just can't imagine not doing it anymore...i mean really pushing myself to try new things and be more artistic in what i do.

I have always wanted to, just made up the excuses of not having enough time blah blah blah...

i know it sound totally cheesey and that is okay. I am feeling a bit cheeseballish tonight!

Here is a mini album i made doing some photo transferring and spray washing on some cardstock and file folders. of course, there is some paint and stamps and other goodies but it is primarily spray washing.

oh and one more thing! don't forget the cyber crop over at Serendipity @ the end of them month! april 25-27! Mad Hatter baby!

I have to laugh b/c i do posts for the Serendipity Blog and it relly feels like i blog a lot more than i am do, kwim?

well anyway, lol! sorry! i do have a good excuse...i had strep throat and a sinus infection last week. it was BAD. i mean, the sickest i have EVER been. i couldn't swallow or talk and then i had all this post nasal drip (yummy) and i couldn't take it on my throat and to top it all off i had to breath out of my mouth b/c i was so stuffed up, not to mention fever of 103 and aches etc. I finally got on the computer Friday night to do some research/programming for work!

i am better now...lived through it. thank god for my mom, never would have made it if she didn't come and help with henry and owen.
