Happy Sunday!

I rarely post on Sundays, LOL...

esp when we are golfing ;) so i am doing this on Saturday and scheduling it...i have been participating in the Scrapperie and Scrapadilly crops this weekend and I saw this My Mind's Eye challenge and I just had to scrap with all this inspiration!

When I saw the challenge at MME, I had to jump on it. I live in area where so few people care about recycling and the environment that i could just SCREAM! they don't pick up recycleables here so people just throw them away b/c driving to the center {which is 30 secs from the school and they can drive their kids to school} is just toooooooooooooooo far. And more..kids growing up not knowing that their actions directly effect the lives of so many, including themselves....there's more but I don't want to go there here... ;0

So this is where it went for me ;) It sums it up, I think.

All patterned papers and the diecut are from My Mind's Eye...I rolled the pieces around a thin paintbrush and then layered the tag over them...just for something different...they remind me of scrolls and time and all that plays into the challenge. I also used the NEW Core'dinations Core Impressions Jenni Bowlin cardstock SOON to be released!

I put my letters through my Cuttlebug! Just put them on wax paper and they come right off!

This is beautiful Ellen, such an elegant page, I love the feel to it and the message it brings. I also love what you've been doing with your cuttlebug! I wish my budget would allow me to buy one!

Stunning layout Ellen, the letters look amazing like that.

I have started doing that with chipboard letters to glam them up.

Hi Ellen. I'm with you on the recycling thing. Same where I live.

That is why, when I make cards, I always try to use up my scrap bin. I don't like to throw away paper. However I get load of scraps from my wedding invitations so my home is loaded with boxes full of paper scraps. I will eventually have to take them out to a recycling point.

Have a wonderful creative week!
