Wahoo! Blogging on Sunday ;) But I have had a hard time getting my posts done on Friday the past few weeks so technically it is still the weekend. I have to laugh. I am so tired, LOL! Owen has been getting some really good reports from school (he has had some "listening to the teacher" issues) well, since he started school. So his reward was having some friends over last night.
So, needless today it has been over 12 hours of them wrestling, playing wrestling with figurines, dancing to Ke$ha and Taio Cruze, and complaining that Henry is bothering them. We put them to bed at 11ish...so by the time 1 am rolled around and I checked on them for the 3rd time they were asleep. But...every single light was on downstairs and the basement, they got papers out and were drawing, more soda (good thing it was caffeine free) ALL in the last 1/2 hour! So funny. They were really good though.
Oh and guess what else the got into? Yeppers. An ENTIRE bowl of Hershey Miniatures. I had two (of these dark chocolate ones) and Brian said he had a few so they ate all of these last night! LOL, can't say I blame them.
So next up is a layout that I worked on while Joyce and I were scrapping on Friday. I busted out her brand new Martha punch. You know you are friends when you let someone use a brand new just out of the package Martha punch before you get to use it ;)
So I found the
Get Picky Challenge blog through Tanya Tahir and I just love it! Inspiration for multi photo layouts and it has really helped me scrap more larger photos on one page. I can do lots of wallets no sweat but I really want to grow in this area and feel as if I have. Here is my layout for this week's challenge. I don't have a lot of romantic-"y" papers b/c that isn't really my style but since they all used Pink Paislee, I ran with that Since I have some Queen Bee that I hoarded from last year. I drew inspiration from their layouts by placing my photo horizontal and making that linear design. Just because you scrap on the simpler side doesn't mean you can use those "froo froo" papers! (that's the technical term, LOL). The cardstock base is
