Stampendous Saturday!

Happy Saturday!  Today I used the Mumpkin stamp and some Stampendous Glitter along with some Core'dinations Cardstock in Orange and White (Core Essentials) and Black Magic. And I used some of my Glitter Silk Scraps from earlier this week for some photo corners. Don't be afraid to stamp on that textured cardstock!!!!!

I cut parts of the stamp set, used some FAB Stampendous Glitter as an extra accent and layered them with 3D foam adhesive.  He is so cute!!!

I embossed the little bat from LYB (their halloween line last year was my FAVE!) and added some May Arts Ribbon, too.

I see You...I Hear You....I love You...

Happy Thursday!
Not sure about you but this week has been gorgeous here on the East Coast.

I have a layout to share with you today using the Sentimental Birds stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop

I bet when you see this set you think layout, right?  Not here ;) I used it on this layout of brian and I at our friend's wedding. They had a photobooth at the reception. How fun is that?  I realized this layout doesn't have  a tittle but I don't even know what it would be....I think the sentiment says it all.

{remember to click on the images to make them larger and view them in a slide show}

I just love this sentiment...I see you ....I hear you...I love you....
I stamped  each one, cut it out and then accented it with a little embellishment after I stitched over it.

All the other goodies are Little Yellow Bicycle.

AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE RIBBON CAROUSEL CHALLENGE!!!! CLICK HERE FOR DEETS! You could win a 20 GC to their store!  Cute stuff for sure.

Summer Time!!! :)

Happy Wednesday!

It is hot hot hot here so I thought it would only fitting to share
a summer layout from the July Sugar Scrapdango kit!
It's full of fun summery colors and papers from LYB (you know I love
my LYB!!! & Simple Stories)

This layout is actually based on the LYB sketch this month.

One of my new favorite things is to make my own photo "art". I call it that but
I no photographer or artist by any means, I just love to play with actions and then
add my own Word Art directly to the photos. I have always had this weird addiction to Word Art and find myself scouring the digi world for cool stuff. Vinnie Pearce always has the coolest downloads and I guess that is where I started loving it a few years ago.

p.s...can you see the BG Core Impressions???  LOVE IT! ;)

CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO MAKE IT LARGER.

And a fun card using some more LYB. I used a Gel-a-tins stamp set. I love these fun button stamps and faux stitching!!! I have to say I never really used faux stitching stamps before and they sooooo easy!

Now you have some easy raffia for jars, birthday and those ever important Holiday bags!

The transparency, ribbon, felt pieces and bling are all LYB...I love their products!

the Scrubster

I am just realizing i don't have brian, aka the scrubster, on my blog a lot and that isn't right! i do scrap him a lot, i do, really! he actually likes it, i can tell ;) supportive scrubsters are the best. he let's me do my thing with this hobby, work and life and i love that about him. we talked about me going back to school, again, at the end of the year. i mean, i did it when owen was 18 mos. so why not when henry is...so we'll see. i have a lot to do to get ready for that. recommendations, getting touch with my old profs, applications, not sure if i have to take my GRE's again or not...well, it doesn't sound that great now that i think about it....lol!

here is a Maya Road album that i made with the Serendipity Scrapbooks altered kit this month. it was jam packed with Teresa Collins goodies and LYB. it's a pretty simple album but it just felt "done" to me.

don't forget the crop at Serendipity this weekend! lots of girls from prevous DT's will be there and Maya Road gave us some extra goodies to give away. THANK YOU! ;)

I used Tim Holtz Red Distressed Embossing powder {yeah!} and i layerd it over off white crackle paint. I cover my albums with paint first before I do anything else. I that way when I sand them and then stuff, you can see the paint. Plus, owen loves to help me do it :)

I layered the LYB Clearcut over the photo and did some journaling and added some eyelets!
