Goals in 2010

Before I share some more things I have been working on, I wanted to admit that I have made a promise to run a marathon on May 2nd in Philly! Oh man, I am so nervous and excited at the same time. It was one of my goals last year but never got around to it so my friend Stacy {seen below} just sent an email out that she is doing it and I immediately jumped on the chance to finish the ONE goal I didn't meet last year. Ha! So now I am pumped.

Last year I did a layout called 5 for 5 and made 5 goals for myself that I wanted to do in 5 months and I did all of them except the marathon. this year I am doing the same thing...having goals and writing them down keeps you accountable for them and it WORKS. I got the garden in order, got better with my paperwork at work {that is a big deal, lol}, got a teaching job at a local community college, worked on my anger management skills and now I am running my marathon. So..now i just need to do it again for the next 5 months!

AND there is a give-a-way going on over at Paislee Press. What an awesome site! Love those labels for sure.

Here are a few layouts from the IDA kit from Serendipity Scrapbooks. So far, I made 4 cards, a wall hanging and two layouts and I even have two layouts I didn't even post yet. I just goes to show ya how much you can get out of these kits.

Supplies here are October Afternoon Report Card, Bella Boulevard Honey I'm Home, Core'dinations, MLS transparencies and more...

This is my bestest friend, Stacy. Even though we live a few hours apart, we talk often and see each other a lot which I am so grateful for. We have such a great group of friends from college, I am so lucky.

This little Making Memories frame didn't have the sentiment that matched this layout so I used the Bella Boulevard Label Addition sticker on it and it fit perfectly! I also used some alcohol inks on the MLS transparency.

Some embossing using my mini Scorpal from Core'dinations.

Run that marathon!! How exciting. That's one of my goals, as soon as I get better, I'm going to run a 5K (baby steps) for Breast Cancer. My dh is going to run with me. I used to be in track, so I love to run.

Love the layout, the deep blues are so pretty. I don't use that color often, but it's really striking.

(sorry, I posted this and was logged in as my son, Ethan.)
