Happy Easter Weekend!

I have to work today and then off to karaoke {i don't sing, brian and his friends do}. you don't want me to! Then work a bit tomorrow and get ready for sunday. we have a house full of people coming...11+ or so, so it should be FUN!

here are a few more things I worked on this weekend and guess what i got in the mail??!??!?! my scrappy box from The Shaker Box for my guest spot for may. and it has my FAVE products in it. FAVE! woot woot.

Here are a few more projects i did for the crop at CMK last weekend.

This first one is using the bleach stamping technique. I didn't have a stamp i wantedt to use so i made some pawprints with my paper towel. These are my boys, Chase and Max!

And then another one of Chase. I can't believe I got this shot of him sniffing the daffodil! i was just calling him over bc he likes to sniff the camera and those shots are so cute, too. i used my SNS ribbon on here...and of course, glimmer mists and color washes on the butterfly.

Lastly is a layout of some of my best girlfriends from college. I used the Mamosa Glimmer Mist on here and then my Art Institute glitter that i get from Serendipity Scrapbooks. Then i seal it with spray glaze that i get a the craft store. Love that stuff.

5for5

do you ever think of YOUR future?
your goals...what you want...not just scrap memories all the time?

i definitely think it is important that we don't forget about ourselves. we get caught up in being moms, wives, sisters, friends and all the other hats we wear...don't forget about YOU.

check out this blog. it will motivate you.

check out the tutorial i did for this tag here...i am giving one away! ;0 ;) ;} i busted out {shocker} my color washes and glimmer mists!!!

busy as a beaver..

that's me! ;)

Kristen from Serendipity Scrapbooks sent me some goodies to work with this month and here are the projects i did. I am just realizing no card! LOL, i think i always have a card in the mix. I also used my SavvyNSassy ribbons on these. On the wall hanging, I use the extra large ricrac and died it with my Butterscotch Color Wash. I also used tons of glimmer mists. hello wheatfield glimmer mist, my name is ellen and i love you! i really only used the dew drops before {sigh}

To check out the tuts on the tag, bag or wall hanging; click here. I

can you see the glimmer mist on this? i love how it has a greenish to it when you use it on the brown! go. get it. now.

And a tag goen bookmark! Again, Glimmer Mists and my color washes. go. get them. now. And these Adorn It clips are so versatile.

And here is a quick bag I altered for owen's wrestling match that I missed. I wanted to do something special for him.
