we had such a blast. we were on the boat 24/7 and swam all day long. owen even jumped off the cliffs, which i couldn't believe! amber would ask him everyday on a scale from 1-10 how great his day and he would say...2000 or 700 million, lol. oh and i can't wait to show you pix of big bertha :)
but first i wanted to show you my first DT project i did for
Core'dinations. Here is a small tutorial for it, too.
I saw that the corner of my piece of core was splitting, so i just decided to pull it apart and see what happened...and viola! i made this...
see that edge? just start peeling...
like this....
and you will get a strip like this...it will be much thinner than the piece of cardstock itself
So I stamped on the back of it {i didn't want the stamped image to show} and then cut them out.
Now the edges will curl effortlessly. Add some sanding and stitching and voila! You have an easy card. I added a
My Stamp Box stamp to the bottom right hand corner.
And i love these framed cards i learned to how to make not to long ago at a crop.
