Has it been a week???? ARGH! It is hard to be such a slacker!!!

We have started a new thread in the Serendipity Scrapbooks {link to the right} for blogging challenges! I love this idea...I love to post pics with every post I do on here so I think this will be a brilliant way to spark some creativity and inspiration for me here.

If you click on my profile, you can go right to the Serendipity Blog b/c I help do the posts over there as well.

So this week's challenge is to post your favorite techniques! WELL....mine are...HYBRID, STAMPING AND MAKING EMBELLIES {my new favorite}. I love making my own embellies now b/c I can incorporate my other to favorite techniques in them too!

So here are a few pics....

The first two are embellishments I made out of supplies I had. The first one {i posted a similiar one below in some sneaks} is just some circles of Daisy D's Paper I cut out, sanded and crumpled. I use the corner of my table or turn a bottle upside down {keeps the rounded edge} to do this. The second is a ribbon flower.

The Second one is Hybrid. This is the top of a tin can i altered with Maggie Lamarre's Designs. I printed this flower in 3 descending shapes and cut them out and then layered them on the lid of the can {don't take the lid off the can all the way, just bend it up a bit and file it so you don't cut yourself}

The Third is Stamping.
Again, I think this is a lot like making your own embellishments but stamping is how I got into scrapbooking and I just can't enough of it. On the first one I embossed some SU! stamps and layered and layered them with dimensionals and added lots of glitter, stickles and other goodies. And the second one, I stamped these patterns right on my cardstock to make a unique design and my own patterned paper in a sense.
