Wow, the past week FLEW by and I have been slacking. Work has been crazy, I have been doing a lot of research, i had a special session on thursday night so i wanted to be prepared, so i dove into my books last week. BUT this weekend, i got some scrappy stuff done and that always makes me feel, well, relaxed!

Here is a card i made for the Glitter and Shimmer contest over at Cut Cardstock! I am so glad i found this place, i am loving their stuff and it is my first time seeing it so i am def. gonna order some and tell my favorite online scrappy stores to take a look :) how about that metallic carstock! woot woot!

I used Glimmer Mist {silver, my FAVE!} and two kinds of Art Institute Glitter. I just used my Tuskineko ink pad {another go to fave of mine} and rolled the edges of the circles in it and then dipped them into the two different kinds of glitter. i get my art institute glitter at Serendipity. and of course, you know how i love my circle punch, LOL!

And, hello!, every 21st century snowman should have a crown instead of a hat, right?! So, wish me luck. it has been awhile since i put my hat into the ring for something!

So the hints and sneaks are over. The cat is out of the bag, so to speak.
I had this idea this summer and it kept coming back to me over and over again.

all i do is scrap memories. and there is nothing wrong with that. but i want more out of it. i want to scrap my goals & dreams, i want to scrap what i want to do next week and i just never took the plunge on my own.

so i started writing down prompts and gathered some online friends and here we are.
forward progress.

so every 15th of the month, we will have a prompt that has something to do with the future. the bucket list was first and fun! the next one, you is so cool too! a treasure so to speak...and then we keep going and they might be intense or they might be fun but they are just prompts to get you thinking about what is to come and not focus on the past so much.

Here is a fun card i made with some fabulous Collage Press Papers from CMK and a cool stamp from Teresa Collins I got at HSS. I love that you can just wipe off the sentiment and you have this great shape to cut out and use to journal on or whatever!

Remember that "thing" i posted about a few weeks ago? WELL here is a sneak and we go LIVE on Saturday, the 15th! so DON'T forget! It is going to be great and let me tell you, it is a different way of thinking when it comes to scrapping. Not in how you design but more about what you are scrapping about. Well, i got my CMK kit and saw the October Afternoon pp's and realized the older ones i had would be too perfect for this layout, LOL! so i combined them, that would make a fun challenge...old and new pp's from the same manufacturer.

anywho, looks like we have a new fave stuffie in the house that is in high demand. Both henry and owen love it, and owen seems to want to take if off of henry when he has it so it is staying at grannies for now ;O

i took the plunge and did this for the Guest Designer Challenge over at CMK. As soon as i saw Leslie's challenge pretty much most of this popped into my head.

i have been dying to use these Rhonna Farrer Grunge masks and i loooove my prima hybrid pp!

henry.bathtime.again, practicing with lighting and shadows...still need more work but look how CUTE he is sucking on the washcloth. i need one for him to suck on and one to wash him with.

this is my street right outside our driveway to the left. i turn this way everyday when i leave the house. and when i come back home i always sing this John Denver song {love me some JD!} & if you know my love of the city, this might make you chuckle

henry and i hanging, i was lying on the floor trying to get a different perspective on this one, you know...like his level...this is in the basement and i think this lighting got pretty good for what i had to work with.

Just wanted to share some Melissa Frances goodies i worked on this month for Serendipity Scrapbooks. They are so soft and pretty and perfect for those little newborns! And 3D stickers...how cool!

As soon as I start singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Henry, he immediately stops fussing and just becomes so calm and quiet and when I got this Magistical Memories Star book it immediately popped into my head.
