Here is the order for today:

Stampendous

I created a Bridal Shower card for today for my cousin. For the base I uses a David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system card base in smooth kraft. I looooove making square cards!  Thanks to Andrea who got me hooked on this ;)
I stamped right on the Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Shattered cardstock with the large rose bloom cling stamp from Stampendous and then heat embossed with some Stamendous glitter embossing powder. After cutting it out, I adhered it with some Tombow 3D power tabs and then finished off with a David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking system pearl tag, sticker and string.

I layered the cut out rose over some wired burlap string. I know it is hard to see but this string has white and pink stitching  on it...gorgeous! Remember you can click on the images to make them larger.

Here is an image of this stamp I just LOVE and use 24/7:

World Card Making Day

Happy World Card Making Day!!!

But before we get started make sure you mark your calendars for THIS!
Core is at it again ;) and we LOVE it.

The first one is for the Core'dinations Colour  Lovers October Palette. Isn't it gorgeous???

For my card, I used some Tim Holtz Kraft Core, Sizzix leaves cut with a Tim Holtz die, and some Whitewash. Finished it off with a myStamp Box stamp.

And May Arts is participating in OWH so join the Hop over at the May Arts blog today! SUCH a great cause and this is the card that I created.

Right now they are looking for Holiday cards so I created this card using tons of Core'dinations Cardstock  (Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions Brights and Core Essentials) and some May Arts Twill.
For the tree, cut a triangle, fold it in half and then run it through your Fiskars paper trimmer.

Happy Labor Day Monday!

I have to laugh at myself b/c I am still getting used to the new look of my blog every time I come here. I am not sure if anyone noticed before that my old header still said 2009! Notice this header is neutral so I don't have to change it next year if I don't want to or find time to is more like it!

Here is a layout I did for Webster's Pages September Guest Designer inspiration. We got to browse Christine Middlecamp's blog for inspiration, which of course is not hard! I love how she layers and layers her embellishments so that is what I tried to achieve in this layout. Everything is Webster's except the metal frame & tag (Tim Holtz).

These tiny rosettes were so easy! I used my scraps from the bloomers (when you cut them down sometimes there are pieces of fabric left over) so I just tied them in loose knots. Then, I took my Shimmerz spritz and took the top out of the bottle and just let some drip right on the fabric. I realized after I glued them to the paper I wanted them to be shimmery and I didn't want to spray the entire page.
