Now on to my projects....

Remember this stamp?  Yep...using it again. It is so versatile.

Our new smooth tags are awesome to stamp on. I cannot get enough of any of our tags! So check them out and make sure you ask your retailer to get some for you.

For these tags I used a variety of May Arts ribbon and some Burlap String (loooooove this stuff!). Then the sentiment is from David Tutera Celebrate Step 3...the white and black sentiment stickers.  I love that the ribbon comes in sooooo many different colors that you can match inks perfectly.

You can never have too many gift tags on hand, can you?

So make sure you hop all week long. Core AND May Arts AND Stampendous are giving awayy HUGE prizes AND Core has picked a super secret DT member's blog for another random giveaway!
Check out the Core blog for deets and hints on that.

Core & Hampton Art

Hi! Happy Tuesday!

I hope you are  having fun with Hampton Art & Core this week! Today I have a gift bag set for you using Core'dinations David Tutera Celebrate cardmaking system and Hampton Art stamps.

Did you know that the Step 2 layers fit perfectly on craft bags?!  How cool is that and I picked these up at  my local craft store and the A7 Large Dot embossed layer fit great. Don't forget to sand ;)
I used a bookmark tag from Step 3 for this cutie little owl. He is so sweet! You can never have too many owls in your stamping arsenal!

{remember to click on pics to make  them larger...a fun little slide show pops up}

and here is a close up of the bookmark/tag. I actually cut them on a smooth cardbase that I messed up and was going to throw away. So instead...I stamped on it and then cut the images out and raised the owl up with a pop up dot.

And you need a card, RIGHT? I add some Hampton Art stamps to the envelope and the inside of the card.

I mixed and matched some Step 3 layers and our Chocolate Box cardstock. Thought it went with the pink and brown thing. I have boys so I rarely get to use pink!!!!

SO..here is your list...happy hopping!!!

Stampendous Saturday!

Happy Saturday!  Today I used the Mumpkin stamp and some Stampendous Glitter along with some Core'dinations Cardstock in Orange and White (Core Essentials) and Black Magic. And I used some of my Glitter Silk Scraps from earlier this week for some photo corners. Don't be afraid to stamp on that textured cardstock!!!!!

I cut parts of the stamp set, used some FAB Stampendous Glitter as an extra accent and layered them with 3D foam adhesive.  He is so cute!!!

I embossed the little bat from LYB (their halloween line last year was my FAVE!) and added some May Arts Ribbon, too.

Here is a little about my project...I did little invitations for a Cookie Party! The holidays are all about cookies and baking and being in the kitchen with your friends and family. Every year we make cookies that you roll out the dough and paint them with food coloring and egg wash and they are soooooooooooooooooo fun. I did it when I was little with my mom and now owen and do it, too. My mom would let me have some friends over because we did 100's of them so I do the same with owen and we have some friends come over to help. I thought these would be perfect for them and they each get their own cookie cutter.

I used the hohoho set and the Funky Alphabet sets. I stamped the reindeer right on the patterned paper and then I stamp the alphas on the back of the Core'dinations Cardstock. The front is white because it is from the Whitewash collection and the yellow is the core color that comes through when you sand. I love how the burgundy ink pops off that yellow and the Funky Alphabets are soooooo fun to cut out!

On the inside, I printed the recipe...

another Close up....I used Webster's Pages patterned papers for this project.

Now on to Tracey's wonderful blog to catch more fun ideas for all kinds of parties! Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog to be eligible for our blog hop prize! Good luck.

Vacation Rocked!

we had such a blast. we were on the boat 24/7 and swam all day long. owen even jumped off the cliffs, which i couldn't believe! amber would ask him everyday on a scale from 1-10 how great his day and he would say...2000 or 700 million, lol. oh and i can't wait to show you pix of big bertha :)

but first i wanted to show you my first DT project i did for Core'dinations. Here is a small tutorial for it, too.

I saw that the corner of my piece of core was splitting, so i just decided to pull it apart and see what happened...and viola! i made this...

see that edge? just start peeling...

like this....

and you will get a strip like this...it will be much thinner than the piece of cardstock itself

So I stamped on the back of it {i didn't want the stamped image to show} and then cut them out.

Now the edges will curl effortlessly. Add some sanding and stitching and voila! You have an easy card. I added a My Stamp Box stamp to the bottom right hand corner.

And i love these framed cards i learned to how to make not to long ago at a crop.

Don't forget you can get all your Core'dinations cardstock at HappyScrappin' Scrapbooking!
